"It's Not About The Dogs"
Canine Ambassador
Obie
This is Obie. He is an adorable Cavelier King Charles Spaniel mixed with ¼ Poodle. He was born in Racine, Wisconsin on March 21, 2023. His soft fluffy coat is black and white with a little dash of brown. He weighs 19 pounds which is perfect for snuggles on a lap. Jamie and Maureen brought him home at just a few week
old. They chose him out of the litter because of his gentle, sweet nature. They prayerfully decided to name him Obed Ark. They chose the name Obed because it means "servant" and they knew they wanted to use him to comfort and serve people. His middle name is Ark. It symbolizes that like the ark in the Bible, Obie would be a safe place to go for someone facing a storm in their lives.

Obie has been fun to train. He was crate trained right away. He did not even cry one night when he first came home. In three days he learned how to ring his bell to go outside and use the bathroom. He passed both his Puppy Training and his Canine Good Citizen Tests with flying colors.

Obie loves people. He also loves cuddling on laps, playing with toys, going for walks, car rides, sleeping, and hugs and kisses. He has already been a blessing to many people and Maureen and Jamie look forward to seeing him touch many more lives as an Ambassador for Comfort Canines for Christ. Obie will bring great joy to people in Hospice Care, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Hospitals, and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Obie has brought Jamie, Maureen, and their youngest son Blaze so much joy and they want to share him with the world!
