Comfort Canines For Christ
"It's Not About The Dogs"
Welcome To Our Dog House
"It's Not About The Dogs" but we bring tremendous joy to a hurting world one visit at a time using our canine ambassadors.
Comfort Canines for Christ is an evangelical therapy dog ministry certified by the American Kennel Club and designated as a 501(c)3 charity by the Internal Revenue Service. The primary mission of Comfort Canines for Christ is to glorify God by fulfilling His directive to lend comfort and share the love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The mission is accomplished by sharing delightful joy using our canine ambassadors with people who truly need a positive, uplifting moment while contending with health issues, personal challenges, or distress. While our teams don't solve the circumstances people face, our volunteers lend a glimmer of hope in the middle of upheaval. Ministry venues include, but not limited to disaster relief, assisted living facilities, hospitals, nursing homes, hospice, rehabilitation centers, and churches.
Comfort Canines For Christ is actively recruiting additional evangelical volunteers anywhere in the United States. Please see our requirements and application on the Volunteer page.

We're Are Still Growing!!!
Comfort Canines For Christ (CC4C) was originally designed so additional teams could be implemented in others areas around the country.
It is with continued excitement that the Board of Comfort Canines For Christ welcome Jacqueline Mikesell of Flushing, MI as new member of CC4C and her Canine Ambassador, Brandi. To meet Brandi, visit the Canine Ambassador page. Brandi has received the proper training and has proven herself as a therapy dog and her handler and trainer is well qualified for the task ahead.
As an organization dealing with canines and the public there is always an underline liability. CC4C has never had an incident where a dog hurt anyone. We have well trained dogs and well trained handlers whose sole purpose is to make sure the dog does not hurt a person and that a person does not hurt the dog. Having said that, the Board of CC4C decided back in 2016 to carry liability insurance and that continues till today.
